Being physically fit helps lower your risks of developing serious illnesses and diseases, strengthen bone muscle, improve your brain health, in addition to playing a critical role in helping you to manage your weight. Getting at least 150 minutes a week of moderate physical activity can help lower your blood pressure and improve your cholesterol levels, too. Exercise includes activities such as brisk walking, cycling, aerobics, dance, and active hobbies such as gardening and competitive sports.
