Islamiyat Nancy Adebisi, MPH, CHES, CWWS, TTS is a Health Educator Consultant and Manager of the Tobacco Prevention and Control Program at the Florida Department of Health in Miami-Dade County. In her role, she coordinates tobacco prevention and control activities at the county level primarily focusing on policy creation, promoting cessation, reducing exposure to secondhand smoke, and preventing youth and college age tobacco/nicotine use initiation. At the health department, she also works closely with partners to create policy, system and environmental changes to address health issues Miami Dade County residents face to ensure they live longer, happier and healthier lives.
