Felicia Robinson

Felicia Robinson is a visionary professional with skills in instructional leadership, administrative leadership, curriculum instruction and development, community-based building, facility operations, program planning and implementation, public policy, and economic development. Ms. Robinson was reared in the knowledge that the greatest among us is a servant. Her early years were imbued with the principles of servitude.

An Assistant Principal in Dade County Public Schools, Ms. Robinson career has led her to a variety of schools from urban to diverse in the melting pot of South Florida. Ms. Robinson was elected in August 2010 and she served two four term before terming out in November of 2018. In her elected office she holds monthly meetings called Meet Me Monday to address residents’ concerns, target issues of children success, provide information to educate residents to be good advocates for their community, and a healthy community. Ms. Robinson sponsored the resolution to being the City’s Citizens on Patrol Program (C.O.P.P), she also participate in the first graduating class for this C.O.P.P. Ms. Robinson is passionate about our community being healthy, her initiatives provide educate, support, and services in our community. Ms. Robinson also started a girls mentoring group LOV (Ladies of Virtue). The vision and mission is to inspire, motivate, and support these young ladies through session and cultural exposure.

Ms. Robinson currently serves as Vice Chair Board member for Center for Family and Child Enrichment, Resource Room, Board member TLF Foundation, and Board member South Florida Youth Symphony. Previously have served as Council member of the City of Miami Gardens (2 terms), the Board of Director representing City of Miami Gardens for the Miami Dade County League of Cities, Regional Coordinator along with Chair of Membership Communication and Public Relations for the Florida Black Caucus of Local Elected Officials, and Treasurer of the Miami-Dade Black Caucus of Local Elected Officials. Additionally, she is member of National Council of Teacher of mathematics; and Good Government Imitative –Class I.

Ms. Robinson earned her Specialist Degree in Educational Leadership from Barry University, Masters in Math Resource from the University of Miami and Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from Tuskegee University.
